The Business Manager contributes to the success of our company by establishing and building relationships with our existing CNC machine tool customer base as well as developing new business opportunities. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on our team to provide the best manufacturing solutions and support to the machine tool industry. This position’s sales territory is in the Arizona Phoenix metro area.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Successfully sell CNC machine tools and engineering services by reaching or exceeding individual goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by meeting, uncovering and identifying their business needs
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the machine tool industry along with its products and services
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitor products and services
  • Identify customer needs and present solutions
  • Manage critical projects through installation and ensure optimal customer satisfaction through initial run-offs
  • Facilitate on-going communication and up-to-date feedback between internal team and customers
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with all departments


Skills:

  • You should be driven, ambitious, love the excitement of sales but also approach the process in a stable manner with a continued focus on a long sales cycle.
  • 5 years outside sales experience in industrial sales including CNC mills and lathes
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, such as collaboration, listening, respect and work ethic, which lead to lasting and trusting relationships with team members and customers
  • Strong project and time management skills with excellent attention to details
  • Familiarity with sales CRM software, preferably SalesForce, and Excel
  • Competitive drive, strong initiative and goal-oriented focus
