Reports to: Equipment Manager
Position Summary:
As Equipment Coordinator for Carolina Core FC, you are responsible for daily equipment/gear set-up and breakdown for all training, matches, locker room and any equipment areas for Carolina Core FC both home and away. Participates in the purchasing, storing, repair, and replacement of all team equipment as well as transportation and inventory. This position will work out of the Go-Forth Training Complex at Phillips Park Soccer Complex & Truist Point Stadium.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage Equipment Inventory
-Assist coaches with all in-market training session needs.
-Daily laundry operations including before and after matches.
-Assist D.O.S.O. & E.M. with kit and other inventory ordering.
-Pre-season receiving, inventory and organizing of all kit and equipment.
-Prepare new training/match uniforms, including heat press logos/crests/patches/badges.
-Maintain all training complex equipment rooms.
-Maintain all locker/dressing room(s).
-Daily monitoring of training complex organization, tidiness, and cleanliness
-Assist with transport, inventory and organizing of all kit and equipment in move from Truist Point Stadium to training complex.
Lead and coordinate all team equipment travel logistics.
-Pack, transport and set up all team equipment for away matches.
-Travel with and assist team to all away matches.
-Assist coaches with any out of market training sessions.
Matchday
-Be present and active in all matchday activities including assisting with warm up's and in-match/halftime needs of players and technical staff.
-Assist away team with requests when visiting team in-market including, training and additional needs as and when requested/required.
Go-Forth Training Complex
-Maintain all equipment-based areas on a day-to-day basis.
•Misc
-Work and collaborate with D.O.S.O. & VP of Brand & Merchandise on all merch related inventory.

-Background in sport operations at the international, professional, or collegiate level.
-Meticulous with a passion for creating processes, principles, and structure.
-Relationship-based and understanding and appreciative of the demands of players and staff.
-Excellent ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks.
-Must align with Carolina Core's community and people-focused club culture and share in our drive for excellence, innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
-Enthusiastic about soccer, former playing experience a plus.
-Enthusiastic and initiative-taking attitude.
-Forward thinker and contributor of ideas and opinions to tasks in hand.
-High work ethic, with an ability to work both independently and part of a wider team.
-Collaborative in nature, with an efficient and effective communication style.
-Enthusiastic about building from the ground up.
-Analytical person / solution oriented.
-MLS, USL and/or NWSL experience and/or knowledge of the Triad/Core area is a plus.
-Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged periods of standing and walking long distance
-Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds at a time.
-Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
