As a member of the business development and marketing team, the Marketing Director's primary roles are that of providing services to support the acquisition of new business and the management of internal and external communication.

This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that align with broader business goals. Key responsibilities include leading the team of four team members in the development of proposals, qualification packages, presentations, digital marketing, and communication materials that support the overall marketing and business development objectives across Graycor Companies. Additionally, the Marketing Director will identify and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize team performance. This leader will also mentor, coach, and train team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Reports directly to the Vice President, Corporate Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with VP, Corporate Development to lead strategic and tactical marketing and business development initiatives to support overall company objectives that advance the business.

Develop, implement and manage the company's marketing plan and budget.

Lead and support Graycor offices and business units in the development of marketing plans, strategies and initiatives that support overall business plans and business development efforts. Actively participate in business planning processes and be accountable for marketing plan implementation and execution.

Direct Graycor offices in creating, preparing, maintaining, and disseminating marketing materials, including proposals, pre-qualifications and electronic presentations.

Develop and implement integrated marketing communications programs including advertising, trade shows, organization involvement, Internet, social media, and public relations to advance the Graycor brand.

Develop and manage a unified content calendar for marketing initiatives to ensure that it is effectively maintained and executed.

Manage the company's digital marketing strategy and coordinate efforts with the marketing team for websites, intranet, social media, SEO and SEM, and email marketing.

Develop and maintain brand strategy, communication guides and identity standards to ensure consistency for all marketing, proposal and business development deliverables.

Provide support to Business Development Managers in their client and opportunity pursuits.

Partner with HR on employment branding and support recruiting efforts.

Lead the team in the preparation of responses to RFP's and RFQ's including kickoff/status meetings, proposal team assignments, overall proposal schedule, follow-up, review, editing, and presentation support.

Coordinate with team to improve, refine and update collateral materials, boilerplate information and templates for all Company proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Provide training, coaching, mentoring and oversight to marketing support staff, including those located in area offices. Train team members in best practices (Graycor Way for Marketing) while also inspiring them to be proactive in their own professional development.

Coordinate with team photo and video shoots for new/completed projects and new hires.

Support Salesforce CRM updates, and lead Proposal Automation, Hubspot Marketing, Open Asset Digital Media Management, and other technology to support business development, proposal and marketing information and overall maintenance.

Lead internal and external communication regarding new project awards, new hires, general announcements, newsletter, events and mailings.

Coordinate with team to support events associated with industry conferences and trade shows including client dinners, golf outings, meetings, etc.

Partner and facilitate outside agencies, creative and technical resources.

Participate in key industry organizations and associations, such as SMPS, to engage, learn, identify and apply industry best practices.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience and demonstrated ability to perform all responsibilities detailed above required.

Proficiency in: Internet usage

Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher)

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator)

AIA templates/software (maintain licenses for access to these documents)

WordPress (Website)

Salesforce (CRM)

Hubspot (Marketing Automation)

Open Asset (Digital Asset Management)

SharePoint

Excellent business writing and editing skills are a must.

Effective time management skills.

Strong communications skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Strong coaching, mentoring and people development skills.

Forward-thinking, proactive strategic partner to Graycor's senior leadership.

Able to accept direction from multiple people and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities are required.

Controlled sense of urgency to get tasks completed quickly but accurately required.

Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%).
