We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Assembly Technician for our Ultra Optics division. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package including a 401k match. Our facility is climate-controlled, and we run one shift. Offering $1,000 Hiring Bonus Job Summary : The Machine Assembly Technician manufactures and validates industrial processing equipment. Minimum Starting Rate : $23/hour (can increase based on experience). Shift: Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm Primary Responsibilities : Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic sub-assemblies. Assemble equipment from drawings, specification, blueprints, or schematics. Test equipment and ensure proper operation prior to shipping. Identify and correct any problems during the testing stage of equipment. Help plan and document assembly procedures. Report nonconformities and/or quality issues in the equipment Experience and Requirements : High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience 3 years of mechanical assembly experience Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Must have a positive attitude and work within a team environment. Basic troubleshooting skills Ability to work on multiple projects. Must be solution orientated and be able to work with limited supervision. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision.
