Marketing Director - Beauty (Digital, Content, and Social Focus)
Job Description We are seeking an experienced and innovative Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts across digital, content, and social media channels. While the primary focus is on driving performance through digital marketing, this role will also manage our overall content strategy and social media presence to ensure an integrated approach to brand growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital marketing with experience managing creative content and social strategies in the beauty or skincare industry.
Responsibilities:
•Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy across digital, social, and content channels, aligning with business goals and brand objectives.
•Oversee performance-driven digital marketing strategies (paid search, social media ads, email, SEO, etc.) while ensuring cohesion with organic content and social media efforts.
•Manage the content strategy to ensure it supports the brand's messaging and contributes to both performance marketing and brand-building goals.
•Own the marketing calendar and lead campaign planning across all channels, ensuring timely execution.
•Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, brand awareness, and community growth.
•Collaborate with creative, product, and brand teams to develop content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement across platforms.
•Lead A/B testing efforts to optimize digital campaigns and content performance.
•Analyze performance metrics across channels (CAC, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and make data-driven decisions for continual improvement.
•Manage relationships with agencies and partners to ensure best-in-class campaign execution.
•Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across digital, content, and social channels.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
•7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and content management.
•Expertise in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta, SEO, email, etc.) and content strategy.
•Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with experience growing organic social presence.
•Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex campaigns
•Experience in data analysis and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM, etc.).
•Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•Passion for the beauty and skincare industry.
Travel: Occasional travel required domestically to accounts/internationally for trend research or to other SWIM USA offices.
Working Conditions: Office - flexible hybrid schedule - required to be in the office 3 days per week.
Physical Demands: must be able to stand, sit, walk and climb stairs up to 8 hours per day.
