Job Title: Flexographic Printing Press Operator

Location: Nashville, TN

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating flexographic printing presses and a keen eye for quality. This role is essential to our production process, ensuring that our printed materials meet the highest standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Press Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to job specifications.
  • Quality Control: Monitor print quality throughout the production run, making adjustments as necessary to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Material Management: Load and unload printing materials, ensuring proper alignment and registration.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing presses to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ink Management: Mix and manage inks to achieve the desired color and consistency for each job.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including job setup, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses. Knowledge of ink mixing and color matching.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
