Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, robotics, hydraulic systems, and CNC machines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to determine necessary repairs.
Conduct repairs and replace faulty components to ensure equipment is operational and meets production requirements.


Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to identify equipment malfunctions.
Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
Implement corrective actions and document findings and repairs in maintenance logs.


Installation and Upgrades:

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new equipment and machinery.
Perform equipment upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.
Ensure all installations and upgrades comply with safety and quality standards.


Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and work areas.
Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety policies.


Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment enhancements.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement lean manufacturing principles.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address recurring issues.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and various hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
