As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining shop equipment, including pumps, hydraulic systems, and controls, pneumatic systems, controls, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain preventative and corrective maintenance files and identify repair parts
  • Disassemble and assemble shop machinery and other equipment as directed
  • Refuel generators, forklifts, trucks, and high-reach equipment
  • Perform various shop work using metalworking tools, such as lathes, mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and welding
  • Demonstrate proficiency with the use of precision measurement tools
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power hand tools
  • Demonstrate knowledge of machine shop equipment, including repair and maintenance
  • Work varying shifts and be willing to adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in rolling stock equipment maintenance
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial maintenance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and climbing staircases and ladders of varying sizes
