We are seeking a confident and reliable Assistant Store Manager to join our first retail location in South Central Los Angeles. This role supports the Store Manager in daily business operations and offers opportunities for growth into the role of Store Manager.
Applicants must be highly motivated individuals ready to maintain Los Angeles Apparel’s visual and operational standards while prioritizing a customer-focused experience. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including weekends, is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Store Manager in all areas of Daily Business Operations, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Merchandising
• Coordinating, Monitoring, and Reporting on Daily (POS) Operations
• Work towards Store Goals and KPI targets
• Recruiting, Interviewing, and Training employees
• Managing employee schedules and conducting performance reviews
• Monitoring and maintaining suitable store inventory levels
• Assisting with the development of new sales and merchandising strategies
• Ensuring the store environment complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store experience
• Resolving customer complaints and concerns
• Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed
• Providing an exceptional customer experience that involves customer connection ensuring a seamless customer journey from start to finish
• Participating as a tastemaker and stylist in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, product of the moment, and offering personal styling suggestions to inspire
• Building rapport with customers through conversation, styling suggestions, and thorough knowledge of our products and company values
