HOURS

  • On call position to help with call offs, vacations, additional work throughout the Monroe Area
  • Monday through Sundays hours vary from as early as 6:00AM to as late as 9:00PM
COMPENSATION
  • $14.00/Hour
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • On call position to help with call offs, vacations, additional work throughout the Monroe Area
  • This is a rest area attendant position
  • Emptying trash containers, taking trash outside to dumpster areas
  • Dusting, spot cleaning, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning windows, polishing surfaces
  • Cleaning and stocking restrooms; cleaning toilets, sinks, floors, plunging toilets, etc.,
  • Snow and ice removal from sidewalks - will be using snow blowers, shovels, salt and other snow tools
  • Weeding and watering flower beds
  • Picking up litter on the property
  • Sanitizing surfaces such as telephones and drinking fountains
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in janitorial or related field preferred but willing to train the right individual
REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
  • Disposition to perform other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire length of your shift
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled carts loaded with products up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to shovel and use snow blower in winter
