This position exists to serve as full time representative for indirect loan sales and development and also serve as on-going coordinator. The Manager of Outside Sales will be responsible for providing members with an outstanding service experience within the framework of the Alabama Credit Union Shared Values. The work schedule is 10am- 7pm and will be a remote position.

Duties include contacting, signing and developing new dealers; managing relationships with existing dealers, including installation, system training, and ongoing needs; managing relations with venders such as CU Direct Lending, including research and development of new sources and venders for indirect lending; meeting with dealers on any post-deal follow-up as needed on issues such as title processing and lien perfection, loan documentation, power-booked deals, etc., preparing tracking reports of the indirect portfolio and dealer data; and performing on-site visits, and analysis of independent dealers for addition to dealer network. Other duties include sales training for existing and future lenders for warranty, GAP, and payment protection; business development training for Branch Managers and Supervisors, and researching potential for new fee income venues such as outsourced indirect lending options to other CU’s for both autos and tractors.In return, those who hold this role get to work at one of the best places in the world.

Minimum qualifications include a 4 year degree, or 5 years experience in outside sales, good computer skills (including the ability to use Microsoft Office products and web-based applications), strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to be a self-starter and work independently, the willingness to travel daily for territory which includes Alabama and contiguous states, the ability to change focus efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and above all, a desire to help others in your community. Other minimum qualifications include 3 years experience with sales training, strong understanding of auto sales industry including, marketing, finance, and contracts, strong understanding of credit including pricing, risk assessment and risk management, solid experience with multiple lending platforms. 5 years experience in outside sales and 5 years experience in auto sales industry are strongly preferred.
