Pye Legal Group has been engaged by a Fortune 100 energy company, to recruit a Senior Compliance Counsel with deep expertise in FCPA, anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, and risk mitigations.This position has significant responsibility for the provision of legal services to multiple clients across a region as well as headquarters support in the United States. The Senior Counsel will assist with sensitive transactions and ensure consistency with compliance process standards and address any process gaps. He/she will also assist with complex confidential and privileged investigations in domestic and international jurisdictions in collaboration with other team members.Success in this position will require significant legal experience and expertise in global anti-bribery and anti-money laundering laws. Some experience with supporting and providing practical legal advice to compliance organizations preferably in the energy sector is beneficial. The position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to be team-oriented and client-focused. The Senior Counsel must demonstrate diplomacy, tact, and sensitivity to cultural diversity. The ability to provide business-focused and cost efficient advice in a challenging operating and legal environment is crucial.Successful candidates will have deep expertise (7+ years) in compliance counseling, FCPA, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering. J.D. required from an accredited law school and current active admission to a US State Bar. Must also have superb verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage the highest levels of management.Our client offers a competitive compensation package, outstanding benefits, and a hybrid work schedule.
