JOB ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
•Function as part of a team to create Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Revit models of buildings of varying types.
•Prepare construction documents including plans, elevations, sections,
schedules, and 2D component details generated from 3D models.
•Create existing architectural and structural 3D models for building
addition/ renovation projects from existing plans and information obtained from
field surveys.
•Coordinate 3D models and drawings with team members and disciplines.
•Revise model and documents from feedback given during the quality
control/quality assurance procedure.
•Perform takeoffs for cost estimates.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
•Demonstrate proficiency in Revit to create 3D models of buildings and/or
building-associated systems required. Autodesk Revit Certification or
willingness to complete Autodesk Revit Certification upon request is preferred.
•Minimum education requirements include an associate degree in
Architecture/Engineering Technology, a related degree, or a combination of
education. Education requirements may be waived if the candidate shows
exemplary proficiency in 3D building modeling software.
•The job position can accommodate candidates on Architectural, Structural,
Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Engineering professional licensure career
track but it is not required.
•The ability to adapt to existing modeling approaches to maintain company
standards and workflows.
•Meeting established project deadlines by working as part of a team
through self-discipline, solid work ethic and supporting others.
