Salary: $70-80,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM
Duration: Permanent position with benefits
Location: Concord, NC (up to 10% of travel)

What’s a typical day as a Heavy Equipment Shop/Field Service Supervisor? You’ll be:
• Recruiting, developing, and leading all field and/or shop technicians to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Ensuring all work orders are opened and closed timely and billed in a timely manner.
• Writing and distributing work estimates for customers.
• Assisting technicians in the repair and service of machinery in a supporting role, when necessary.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all safety training, product training, and department goals.
• Ensuring all company safety requirements and training are adhered to by service technicians.
• Monitoring and scheduling inspections, updates, technician assignments, and other related tasks.
• Completing assigned work including assisting technicians to achieve productivity goals and maintaining financial responsibility for shop and fleet expenses for the assigned branch.
• Leading technicians to complete all training as required.
• Ensuring all administrative functions such as reporting and payroll are completed in a timely manner.
• Responding positively to other duties that may be assigned in the scope of the job.
• Seeking formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations.
• Actively participating in required training, development programs, and electives as suits one’s needs.

• Have a high school diploma and/or trade school completion in an appropriate field.
• Have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have a customer-oriented mindset and enjoy building relationships.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Have knowledge of safe job practices and regulations related to OSHA and MSHA.
• Have an aptitude for repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment.
• Have basic mechanical knowledge of tools and mechanical work for repairing equipment.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Document work in a clear and concise manner.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Possess and maintain an approachable and friendly demeanor.
• Work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
• Have a proven ability to complete work with energy and enthusiasm.
• Are compatible with working branch hours and extended days as needed.
