Your Role:
Are you an experienced technician with extensive knowledge in the material handling sector? Do you possess a passion for guiding and developing others?
WMH Corporation is on the lookout for a Lead Technician to join our distinguished team. In this capacity, you will execute advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of material handling machinery. Your proficiency will guarantee that our clients receive superior service and that our equipment functions at optimal levels. Moreover, your leadership and technical acumen will enhance the performance and durability of our machinery while mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct intricate diagnostics and repairs on material handling machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Maintenance Excellence: Skillfully identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic challenges to ensure swift and effective solutions. Perform thorough preventive maintenance to assure equipment longevity and reliability.
Mentorship: Offer guidance and training to junior technicians, nurturing their growth and ensuring high-quality workmanship while sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding the status and requirements of their equipment.
Detailed Documentation: Maintain thorough records of work completed, including parts utilized and labor hours, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Safety Leadership: Advocate for and comply with all safety regulations and standards, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Continuous Improvement: Keep updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a technician role within the material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is advantageous.

- Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a focus on team development.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
