Regional Sales Manager (OEM/EMS) – Electronics Components

As a Regional Sales Manager at Astute Electronics, Inc., you'll lead a highly driven and dynamic team, driving the growth of our core services in the procurement and distribution of electronic components. You'll play a key role in motivating, mentoring, and inspiring both internal and field sales teams to exceed goals and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Position Location: This role is based at our Austin, Texas headquarters, with an on-site presence required to lead Internal and Field Sales Executives. Schedule flexibility will be based on team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the sales team, cultivating individual and team success toward achieving GP goals.
- Motivate and guide both Internal Sales Executives (ISEs) and Field Sales Executives (FSEs) to exceed gross profit goals while fostering an environment of growth, success, and development.
- Set clear KPIs and goals for the team, track progress, and offer support to meet and exceed objectives.
- Develop, coach, and retain top talent while building a positive and high-performance team culture.
- Drive innovative sales strategies to exceed sales targets and improve business results.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
- Lead by example, with a focus on results, proactive problem-solving, and fast decision-making to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Collaborate with other teams to align efforts and streamline processes to enhance team productivity and sales growth.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the OEM/EMS electronic components industry.
- Proven experience as a sales leader in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing sales teams.
- A results-driven attitude, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and engage with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, innovative approach to challenges.
- Ability to make quick decisions and implement changes in response to market demands.
- A passion for growth, development, and achieving results.
- Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
