This inpatient acute care unit is the largest unit in the hospital. In this patient care area, we have the capability to care for a broad spectrum of patient acuity. Patients can be admitted after meeting the need for a medical/surgical, telemetry or intermediate level of care.
* This is a great opportunity for nurse residents or any nurse looking for new challenges every day, working with a wide spectrum of diagnoses and a vast diversity of patients.
* Equipped with modern technology, telemonitoring equipment and access to a network for specialists
* This unit is well-staffed with ancillary support, management, supervisors and multiple nurse educators & coordinators - on each shift
* Multimodal orientation program utilizing latest evidence-based online education programs, interactive classroom lectures, and high-fidelity simulation.
* The perk of being a Registered Nurse in a smaller, community hospital is that you never get lost in a crowd Training can be individualized, cross-training into specialty roles is available and you have access to leadership on a daily basis.

Two 12-hour shifts a week (7p-730a)
* Every other weekend and holiday
