Position Overview: The Assistant Club Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the fitness center. This individual will assist the Club Manager in overseeing gym operations, staff management, and member satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess strong leadership skills, and be committed to creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for both members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operational Support: Assist in managing daily operations of the gym, including opening and closing procedures, facility maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and support gym staff. Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
  • Member Engagement: Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for members. Address member concerns, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of member satisfaction.
  • Sales and Marketing: Assist in developing and implementing promotional strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones. Support membership sales efforts and promotional events.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, inventory, and other administrative tasks. Assist with budgeting and financial reporting as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, labor laws and regulatory standards. Conduct regular facility inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the fitness or customer service industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Fitness Knowledge: Passion for fitness and wellness, with a good understanding of gym operations and member services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency and experience with gym management software is a plus.
