East Side Plating is currently hiring for a Racker position for our day shift operation, the Racker hangs customer parts on racks prior to the plating process.

Responsibilities:

  • Places parts on various racks/carts/fixtures in advance of the plating process
  • Applies masking and/or plugs to parts as required by customer specifications
  • Makes recommendations for improvements
  • Tracks and records work order information in computer
  • Follows safety guidelines, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and must not pose risk to self or others
Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform visual inspection on parts prior to processing to prevent potential quality issues
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and receive direction from others
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and work well with others
  • Able to work while standing during your shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs throughout shift
  • Ability to wear gloves and safety glasses

Preferred Qualifications:

Shifts: Day: Mon to Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with occasional OT

Wage: $20.00/hour to start
