Plating Racker

East Side Plating is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Racker within our day shift operations. The primary responsibility of the Racker is to prepare customer components by securely hanging them on racks before they undergo the plating process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently positions parts on various racks, carts, and fixtures in preparation for plating.
• Applies necessary masking and plugs to components in accordance with customer specifications.
• Identifies and suggests potential improvements to processes.
• Maintains accurate records of work orders using computer systems.
• Adheres to safety protocols, meets quality and productivity benchmarks, and maintains a reliable attendance record.

Required Qualifications:

• Capable of conducting visual inspections on parts to mitigate quality concerns.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and follow directions effectively.
• Proficient in understanding and executing both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs throughout the shift.
• Willingness to wear safety gloves and glasses as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour.
