Big Dam Waterpark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Water Safety, Food & Beverage, and Park Services teams. Under the direction of the General Manager, this leader will ensure operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and adherence to all P2:3 Consulting policies, procedures, and values.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to servant leadership, modeling professionalism, integrity, and a team-first mindset.Key Responsibilities:Lead as a Servant Leader while upholding the mission, values, and professional standards of P2:3 Consulting.Support and enforce all company policies and procedures.Partner with park-level and corporate stakeholders (Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless operations and business continuity.Manage department budgets with excellence and communicate financial risks or concerns to the General Manager.Oversee inventory management and expense control procedures across assigned lines of business.Ensure exceptional guest service and guest experience standards within all assigned departments.Confirm that all employees are properly trained and certified according to industry and third-party requirements prior to working.Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready operational spaces at all times.Support seasonal tasks such as park opening, preparation, and winterization.Respond to and report employee injuries, park incidents, hazards, and concerns per company protocols.Attend required meetings and training sessions determined by General Manager or Corporate Leadership.Hold regular meetings with direct reports to communicate priorities, support development, and ensure departmental alignment.Complete all tasks with excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail.Qualifications:Previous aquatics leadership experience required; waterpark operations experience preferred.Current or previous Ellis & Associates Instructor or Lifeguard certification strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of water safety practices, risk management, and emergency response procedures.Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, and maintain calm in high-pressure situations.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods, work in outdoor environments, and perform water rescues.Must pass a lifeguard swim test and physical screening as required by Ellis & Associates.Health, dental, and vision insurance (if full-time, year-round)Paid time off and holiday schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
