Responsibilities

LOCATION - Irving, TX, Florence, KY OR Wilmington, DE  - Hybrid

Celanese has adopted SAP S/4 and its Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Product Safety module and Salesforce for managing global regulatory compliance across its diverse business segments. The position within Product Stewardship offers a challenging opportunity to support the Celanese's various business units in the application of regulatory systems and tools.  The role will lead and/or support various Salesforce and/or SAP EH&S systems, data projects, and manage day-to-day regulatory system and process activities.  The candidate will have the opportunity to support safety data sheet (SDS) authoring and publishing, SAP expert rules, BW reporting, automated SDS distribution, dangerous goods management, substance volume tracking (SVT), global label management (GLM), ERC (regulatory content) updates and Salesforce. 

Job Scope and Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities related to Salesforce and SAP EH&S systems
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve product stewardship and master data issues
  • Provide product stewardship system solutions, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Participate and support corporate and business project work for SAP and Salesforce, including data
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously as project manager or team member, including mergers / acquisitions / divestitures / joint ventures
  • Accountable for SAP EH&S and Salesforce functionality as primary or secondary (backup) process owner
  • Influence and interface in global networks (IT, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Trade Compliance)
  • migration/transformation, integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Prepare and deliver training on Salesforce and SAP EH&S system topics
  • Master data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate in global teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product stewardship/regulatory compliance, supply chain, IT, or related SAP area
  • Working experience with global teams in Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe/Middle East/Africa regions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork, customer focus, integrity, and professionalism
  • Strong problem solving, project management, and record keeping skills
  • Excellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and working experience in SAP a plus
  • Understand SAP functionality and master data
