Base pay range $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr Are you ready to elevate your CNC programming expertise to new heights? Our client is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their engineering team, where you'll be pivotal in crafting and optimizing CNC programs for precision manufacturing. Your role will be crucial in ensuring quality and performance excellence in producing high-precision parts and components. Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop effective processes that meet customer requirements and quality objectives. Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis mills using Mastercam, with CloudNC CAM assist as a plus. Design efficient machine setups, select appropriate tools, and determine cutting paths for maximum productivity and quality. Analyze machining processes to enhance cycle time, tool life, and surface finish. Resolve machining and programming issues, working closely with machinists and engineers. Maintain accurate records of programs, tool lists, setup sheets, and revisions. Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models, integrating CAD data into CNC workflows. Work with Quality Assurance to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications. Key Responsibilities Participate in new product development processes and solve manufacturing challenges. Oversee tooling and fixture organization and purchases. Provide guidance and assemble job kits for machinists. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize work effectively. Qualifications 5-10 years of CNC programming and machining experience. Proficiency in MasterCam and CAM software. Strong understanding of G-code, CNC operations, and best practices in machining. Experience with multi-axis CNC machines, especially in Aerospace and Defense sectors. Proficient in GD&T and capable of reading complex blueprints and 3D models. SolidWorks experience is advantageous. Preferred Skills Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and a range of materials from Aluminum to Inconel. The role involves regular interaction with large equipment on the production floor, requiring physical activity such as standing, walking, and moderate lifting.
