A Day in The Life at MKS:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at MKS Vacuum Solutions Division, you will partner with Product Engineers, Quality, Planning, and Production Leaders and work closely with a diverse group of production machinists, welders, and assembly operators to improve and sustain production processes and help support the manufacturing strategy for the MKS Broomfield operations. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Defining, improving, and supporting the overall Process and Product Flow.
  • Contribute to resolving quality and efficiency issues at the component level.
  • Implementation and Control of Manufacturing Documents (Work Inst, Tool Dwg, Process Dwg).
  • Support and Promote a Lean Continuous Improvement environment.
  • Estimate manufacturing cost, review/update time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
  • Maintaining and promoting Safety and EHS compliance.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience and 2+ years of related experience.
  • Strong communication / listening and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Tool/Fixture Design.
  • Experience with Oracle and Agile.
  • Understanding of Product Engineering, Product Design Reviews and ECR/ECO systems.
  • Experience with BOM structure and Engineering Documentation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Tubular Components and CNC Machining preferred. CNC programming a plus.
  • Familiar with TIG welding and Orbital welding. Interest in welding robotics.
  • Understand principles of DFM and DFA.
  • Experience with 3D printing.
  • Experience with Mechanical Assembly.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • May require manual dexterity and coordination of objects in normal range
  • Occasionally may move or position objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical hardware
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually average.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Pay Range: 65,000 to 90,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
