Receiving SupervisorLocation: Warehouse EnvironmentDirect Supervisor: Purchasing ManagerSalary: $30 per hour Join ASM Global as an Receiving Supervisor at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Responsibilities:
+ Oversee inventory management and stock operations.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records.
+ Supervise warehouse personnel.
+ Ensure stock replenishment.
+ Implement quality control measures.
+ Manage documentation and reporting.
+ Optimize operational efficiency.
+ Ensure safety and compliance.
+ Collaborate with other departments for customer service.
Inventory Management:
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
+ Conduct regular stock counts.
+ Reconcile discrepancies.
+ Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
Supervision:
+ Lead a team of warehouse staff.
+ Assign tasks and provide training.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Stock Replenishment:
+ Monitor stock levels.
+ Anticipate demand.
+ Coordinate with procurement/purchasing teams.
Quality Control:
+ Implement quality control measures.
+ Inspect goods for damage and adherence to quality standards.
+ Log temperature readings.
Documentation and Reporting:
+ Maintain accurate records of stock transactions.
+ Generate reports on inventory levels.
Operational Efficiency:
+ Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
+ Optimize storage space.
+ Implement new technologies for inventory management.
Safety and Compliance:
+ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
+ Conduct regular safety inspections.
Customer Service:
+ Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders.
+ Address customer inquiries or concerns.
