Accountability We own our actions and decisions; we do what we say we are going to do. Leave Everything Better We innovate to improve everything we touch, and we take actions now to protect the future. Description TBC Corporation is seeking a forward‑thinking and hands‑on Vice President, Enterprise Architecture to lead the modernization of our enterprise technology platforms. This executive role ensures that the EA function continuously evolves with the changing business and technology landscape, guides modernization of the technology portfolio and helps connect IT investment decisions to desired business outcomes for revenue growth, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. This role will drive the transformation of legacy systems into a cohesive, cloud‑native ecosystem that supports scalability, agility, and data‑driven decision‑making. Design and guide the implementation of microservices‑based architectures and event‑driven systems. Act as a “player‑coach” by contributing to codebases (primarily in Python and Java) along with leading and mentoring engineering teams. Build proof‑of‑concepts and reference implementations for cloud‑native services and data pipelines. Continued Responsibilities Mentor a technical team responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of architectural strategies. Direct the development and documentation of the strategy linking TBC’s application, data, solution, digital and technical architectures. Maintain a full understanding of all TBC’s technology implementations and integration with external service providers. Champion architectural principles across teams to ensure consistency and scalability and provide leadership in addressing the gap between enterprise architecture strategy and the IT organization’s readiness to adopt. Establish and chair an architecture governance board responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of IT resources and assets, and architecture and portfolio decisions that enable the long‑term business strategy. Added Responsibilities Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic fit and potential disruption while helping drive solutions that increase business value. Other Responsibilities Assess the current technology landscape and identify gaps or inefficiencies. Drive organizational agility by enabling rapid adaptation to changing business needs. Improve operational efficiency through streamlined systems and processes. Reduce integration costs and risks by promoting interoperability and reuse.
