Senior National Sales Manager Location: Germany (Field Based) About the Role As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we are seeking a highly motivated National Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales organization in Germany. This role is focused on driving the commercial success of innovative and biosimilar products, overseeing product launches, and making a tangible impact in an entrepreneurial and high‑growth environment. What You’ll Do Lead, coach, challenge, and motivate a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to achieve or exceed sales objectives. Develop and execute sales strategies, regional sales plans, and key account plans in collaboration with direct reports and senior leadership. Manage promotable products (innovative therapies or biosimilars), including product launches. Cascade strategies, goals, targets, and budgets across all regions. Work closely with Executive Director Sales DACH, VP DACH & Managing Director, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Global Commercial Excellence to implement effective sales processes and CRM usage. Observe market trends and execute aligned marketing strategies. Build strong relationships with senior influencers and key decision‑makers in retail and hospital accounts. Track business plan performance, conduct field visits, regional business reviews, and regular sales meetings with coaching/training. Recruit, induct, and develop direct reports, conducting performance reviews and annual appraisals. Represent ADVANZ PHARMA at international, national, and regional medical congresses and sponsored events. Ensure compliance with ADVANZ regulations, ethical standards, and relevant industry codes. Collaborate cross‑functionally with medical, market access, and marketing teams to deliver solutions aligned with account plans. Foster a “One Team” spirit, working collaboratively and maintaining the company’s vision and values. About You We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives. For this role, you will also have the following: Qualifications Scientific university degree or Certified Pharmaceutical Sales Representative plus another university degree. Experience with immunology (rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology), or ophthalmology, ideally with biosimilar launch experience. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of pharma industry experience in regional or national sales management roles, ideally in Specialty Pharma. 5+ years of successful line management experience. Proven ability to deliver results through effective line management and multi‑stakeholder engagement. Understanding of healthcare market access, reimbursement, and funding processes. Experience in Key Opinion Leader engagements. Strong operational and people management skills; ability to coach and develop team members. Commercially aware, results‑oriented, autonomous, and entrepreneurial mindset. Fluent in German and English.
