Assembly & Test Technician

is seeking to hire a Assembly & Test Technician for our client in South Bend, IN

•
• PAY RATE: $22/hr
Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results
Industry specific tests and testing equipment will be trained upon
Test experience is preferred, but not necessary
Familiar with standard test/troubleshooting concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of tasks including assembly and test of aviation components after meeting internal requirements
Works under direct supervision
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs
without significant repetitions
Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated
Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.
• The ability to test in a hydraulic laboratory environment with components such as solenoids and servo valves.
• Candidates must have knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Associates degree preferred, but work experience such as certified automotive/truck technologist acceptable.

• Experience in test and test equipment support, troubleshooting abilities, with either electronic and/or hydraulic knowledge.
• Exposure and understanding of analog and digital test equipment.
• Motivated hands-on people to drive improvements in a challenging environment.
• Provide clear and concise communications.
• Ability to juggle many priorities and competing demands easily and effectively.
• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.
• Microsoft Office Experience
