Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble hydraulic manifolds according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Assembling kits from the water jet or inspecting assembled kits and packaging them for shipment to the customer.
  • Must have great attention to detail and good measurement skills.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble products.
  • Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery. Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of components and assemblies to identify defects or non-conformances. Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the supervisor and participate in corrective action processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including work orders, inspection results, and production logs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus but not required.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist in training new assembly technicians and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, such as quality control, engineering, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow
