Interim Head of Sales

ECA On-Demand has partnered with a private equity-backed home services company to transform their sales organization. We’re looking for an Interim Sales leader to develop and implement sales processes and infrastructure.This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who can work at both strategic and tactical levels. The engagement is expected to last 3-6 months, with potential for full‑time conversion for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming sales orgs within PE‑backed companies, ideally within home services.Role OverviewDevelop and implement comprehensive sales cycle processes and playbooksConfigure and optimize CRM systems to support sales operationsCreate sales infrastructure that can scale with company growthProvide hands‑on leadership and execution of sales initiativesEstablish metrics and reporting frameworks for sales performanceWork directly with company leadership and board membersDeliver concrete, implementable sales strategies and tacticsTrain and develop existing team members on sales processesExperience RequiredProven experience in sales leadership roles, particularly in lower to middle market companies – home services experience preferred (HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, pool services, etc.)Previous interim or fractional sales leadership experienceHands‑on experience configuring and optimizing CRM systemsTrack record of developing and implementing sales playbooks and processesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience working with private equity‑backed companies preferred“Full‑stack” sales leadership capabilities – able to handle both strategic planning and tactical executionDemonstrated success in similar project‑based or interim sales leadership rolesAbility to flex up and down based on company needsSelf‑starter mentality with strong execution capabilitiesIf your experience sounds like a great fit for this role, please apply today for immediate consideration.ECA On-Demand is the dedicated consulting division of ECA Partners, a market leading executive search firm.
