The Assistant Controller reports to the Corporate Controller and will supervise accounting operations, Bill of Material, Cost Accounting, Job Costing, Inventory observations, monthly and yearly closings, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Executes month-end and year-end closing procedures, which involve preparing journal entries and reviewing the work of team members.
- Oversees the accounting team.
- Maintains ERP configuration and setup to ensure accurate data capture and correct posting to the general ledger.
- Manages the account reconciliation process, promptly addressing and resolving any reconciling items.
- Prepares monthly financial statements for assigned entities and aids in the preparation of consolidated financial results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 4 + years of financial management experience or proven experience in a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ability and willingness to take a leadership role on complex projects while consistently overseeing the accounting department's daily responsibilities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions such as Index, Match, Address, Indirect, Arrays, etc.
