Our guests seek luxury, value, and world-class service. As a *Diesel Technician (Flat Rate),* you will maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair. You will impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to purchase, lease, or service their vehicle.

* Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight and taillight installations
* Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
* Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety
* Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the soundness
* Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
* Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
* Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accordance with manufacturer/dealership standards.
* Inspect vehicles and record findings.
* Explain vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors.
* Keep current with new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.
*Skills Needed to Win:*
* 2+ years of prior diesel diagnostic, and repair experience required. Previous GM training a plus.
* A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
* Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
* Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
* Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record
