Business Analyst Financial Crimes & Compliance (Hybrid, Charlotte, NC) Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract role with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will analyze and translate data into actionable insights to support financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions projects. Rate $60$64 per hour, negotiable based on experience, education, and location. Responsibilities Analyze and translate data into actionable insights for financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions projects. Collaborate with financial crimes analysts and quantitative modelers to review business requirements and data needs. Conduct data profiling and mapping, analyze results, and provide comprehensive reports. Review data flows and communicate impacts related to new data sources or projects. Gather and translate business requirements into detailed specifications for development teams. Manage project deliverables and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities in collaboration with development partners. Coordinate and multitask across various projects while ensuring attention to detail and timely delivery. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years as a Functional Business Analyst, with 6+ years experience in MongoDB and SQL. Experience in banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions. Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage project timelines effectively.
