Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst (BA) to own the EntityKeeper product and serve as the bridge between stakeholders, product leadership, and development teams. This role is critical in translating business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders. The Business Analyst will report directly to the VP of Product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary BA owner for EntityKeeper, gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Product to define and refine product roadmaps and priorities.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows for development teams.
  • Manage backlogs and ensure clarity of requirements within JIRA, Azure DevOps, Asana, or other project management platforms.
  • Partner with development teams (5+ members) to ensure successful delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions.
  • Validate feature releases by writing and executing acceptance testing.
  • Monitor product performance and gather feedback to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Support reporting, data analysis, and light SQL queries as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency with product/project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar).
  • Experience collaborating with development teams of 5+ members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with reporting tools and SQL.
