Purpose The Operations Specialist leads and directs the overall operation of the assigned Community in accordance with residents’ needs,government regulations, and Sinceri Senior Living policies and procedures. This positionmaintains excellent servicequality, and high occupancy, and meets corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelines. Minimum Eligibility Requirements A proven track record of success as an Administrator at a Retirement, Nursing Home, or Assisted Living Facility Bachelor’s degree in a relatedfield preferred Must be licensedin good standingif required by the State Licensing Authority Must be able to flourishin a constantly changing work environment Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public Must meet all healthrequirements, including TB Must be able to performduties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation Must pass a criminal background check Must have compassion for and desireto work with the elderly EssentialFunctions Overall Manage assignedcommunity to ensure optimalperformance in the absenceof a permanent Administrator or other key position Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of permanent Administrator for an assigned community Community Management Work with the Communitymanagement staff and corporatestaff in planning all aspects of Community operations, including settingpriorities and job assignments Monitor each department, communicate and interpret policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist coach, and discipline staff as necessary Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of the Community and grounds Ensure the safetyof residents, their visitors, and staff regardingInfection Control, Fire,and Safety policiesand procedures Quality Assurance Conductroutine inspections of servicesbeing provided to ensure the highest quality Compliance Maintain currentknowledge of State Regulations and ensure compliance in all surveys conducted by licensing authority Resident Care Ensure programming is effectively managedand marketed (specialcare, companion living, therapies, wellness, etc.) Community Staffing and Retention Selectqualified, appropriate candidates for employment Ensure trainingand incentive programs are in place and working properly Monitoremployee morale, maintaining a high levelof team spirit and unit cohesion Ensure compliance with employment laws and companypolicies Manageturnover Maintain network or recruitment sources Business Management Manage Community budgets. Monitor laborcosts, raw food costs, accounts receivable, accounts payable,and payroll in concertwith Sinceri Senior Living Accounting and Operations Staff. Appropriately handle and safeguard Community funds Ensure compliance with all procedures when it comes to all revenue, expenses, and payroll Ensure Accounts Receivable are collected Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Ensureoptimum/maximum occupancy, revenue, and profitability for the community Developand implement a sales and marketingplan Keep abreast of market trends and competition Maximizeoccupancy, and efficiency of payor mix, and develop all Community staffmembers as marketers of the Community Guide, and mentor sales and marketingto effectively reach occupancy and revenue goals Effectively perform all phases of the internalsales process: inquirycalls, pre-tour, tour, and post-tour (closing) Create a culturethat trains and supports all communitystaff to participate in the internalsales process Effectively perform all phases of external relationship-building/partnering with referral sources Promote occupancy and revenue growth through effective, planned eventswith the community at large, residents, and families Community Relations Develop positiverelationships with State regulators, the community at large, families, and residents on behalfof the Communityand Sinceri Developpartnerships with professional organizations and Customer Service Responsible for ensuringthat all employeesare providing excellent customerservice to internal and external customers Residents Rights Ensurecompliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights Training Responsible for ensuringthat employees attend all requiredin-service training Provide in-service training as needed Why You Should Work With Us: At Sinceri Senior Living, we are a fun loving, employee‑centric company like no other Maybe that’s why we have been certified by our employees as a Great Place to Work ® for our 6th Year in a row.
