Business Development Sales Director

This position is looking for a Hunter. The role is 70% Business Development - confidently growing business through prospecting and delivering.

This company is a leading pathology laboratory a trusted partner of clinicians across the US. Known for their high-quality and subspeciality pathology services providing timely and reliable patient diagnoses in Gastrointestinal pathology, Dermatopathology and Urology. The company has 4 state-of-the-art pathology laboratories that are profoundly impacting patient care by practicing medicine at the intersection of quality, service and solution. Currently they are looking for a Business Development Director based in Northern California to lead In this specific territory.

Responsibilities You will spend 70% of the time prospecting, 20% of the time on client retention, 10% of the time in administration Create and design your own strategic business plans and consistently achieve sales quota while complying with company standards, policies and procedures. Effectively prospect to target customers, deliver value propositions and convert business routinely to grow revenue in your territory. Maintain and solidify Anatomic Pathology knowledge in Derm, GI and GU.

Qualifications 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales (product and services preferred) Experience calling on physicians and ambulatory surgery centers. 2+Years of experience in Anatomical Pathology sales (IHC, Liquid Biopsy, FISH). Maintain a high level of knowledge of the company’s products and the needs of the market within Derm, GI and GU. .
