Overview DescriptionThe Sustainability Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance support for the Global Sustainability Waste partner strategies. The role will support a growing team across North America, EU, and globally. Responsibilities

Managing and reporting business performance, including goal development and tracking Developing rhythm of business and strategy documents (i.e. Annual, 3-year Operating Plans, Long range vision) Managing operating expenses including COP and headcount Supporting assurance/audit engagements and contract negotiation Driving investment appraisal based on NPV and tracking FCF A day in the life As a Sustainability Finance Manager, you will serve as leader for Amazon’s Waste global business spanning across multiple geographies. You will partner with key business leaders to identify opportunities to drive growth, productivity, and controllership for Waste. This role has P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for owned initiatives globally, and is a critical partner to the Sustainability Leadership team.

Basic Qualifications 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience MBA, or CPA Knowledge of SQL/ETL Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
