What You’ll Do Technical Delivery Managers provide integrated architecture support, drive implementation success, and act as trusted advisors to clients. They mentor delivery teams on advanced technical solutions, guide programming, and implement internal tools to improve business efficiency. Who You’ll Collaborate With You’ll team up daily with a seasoned Appian practice, creative minds, and a supportive, diverse, multi‑disciplinary team. What You’ll Be Working On Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and program initiatives. Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit unique needs and ecosystems. Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies. Support pre‑sales activities to close new business—scope, respond to proposals, prepare SOWs, advise on project approaches, and present methodologies. Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back‑office implementations. Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement. Provide thought leadership on process improvement and delivery practices. Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools. Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources. How You’ll Excel In Your Role 5+ years of experience with Appian solutions. 5+ years of related IT experience. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area. Strong experience with Agile delivery. Strong integration design and development skills. Experience evaluating and resolving security testing issues. Experience with PaaS/SaaS configuration and support. Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Hybrid position: on‑site McLean VA / remote. Required Technologies PaaS/SaaS or Low‑Code Platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian/Pega/OutSystems/Bizagi). RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP). Web services, integrations and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion). Cloud computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Software troubleshooting and performance tuning. Preferred Experience Active Appian Senior or Lead certification. Programming/scripting (Java, C++/C#, Perl, Python).
