OverviewWe are looking for a talented Principal Technical Engineer - Identity & Access Management to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology in Atlanta, GA.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Drive Strategic Cybersecurity Integration You'll ensure cybersecurity controls are seamlessly embedded into enterprise systems, aligning security with business goals and reducing risk across the organization.Innovate Through Engineering and Research By conducting system engineering and research, you'll develop forward-thinking solutions that enhance cybersecurity posture and support evolving business needs.Design Secure Technology Architectures Your work in designing hardware, operating systems, and applications will ensure that cybersecurity requirements are met from the ground up.Strengthen Enterprise Resilience via Penetration Testing Overseeing authorized penetration testing will help identify vulnerabilities proactively, enabling the organization to fortify its defenses.Optimize Financial and Resource Management Your input on budgeting, forecasting, and procurement will ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams Managing employees and contractors, you'll foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Support Career Growth and Performance Excellence Through mentoring, coaching, and performance management, you'll empower team members to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully.Build Strategic Relationships for Business Value By applying Business Relationship Management practices, you'll cultivate strong stakeholder partnerships that drive impactful, technology-enabled outcomes.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Financial Acumen Apply financial insights to guide decisions on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, ensuring cybersecurity initiatives are cost-effective and aligned with business goals.IT Operational Support Ensure reliable and secure IT services by managing ongoing operations and maintaining service levels across enterprise systems.Solution Design Architect secure, scalable solutions that meet technical, business, and compliance requirements using industry-standard tools and methodologies.Strategic Planning and Policy Advocate for cybersecurity policy improvements by identifying gaps and collaborating across functions to implement protective measures.Systems Security Requirements Planning Translate business needs into actionable security requirements and guide their integration into technical solutions to reduce risk.Education, Licenses, CertificationsCollege, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience5-7 years of cybersecurity work experience is required.2 years of experience with Cloud technology and concepts preferred.QualificationsCore Responsibilities:Build a strong Identity Governance and Administration program and serve as the technical expert. Key technical contributor to the strategy, design, engineering and management of the enterprise IGA solutionDesign and implement Identity Governance and Administration processes. Plan, design and implement Access Reviews, Compliance Reporting, Access Control Processes, role-based access control and other relevant Identity Governance and Administration capabilitiesBuild a strong Identity & Access Management foundation. Integrate Identity & Access Management systems with in-house applications, third party applications and SaaS applications for all identity governance functionsDesign, develop, test, implement, and document the Identity & Access Management solution to meet program requirementsTranslate high level requirements into detailed technical designs, and lead design sessionsDevelop documentation to support ongoing Identity & Access Management systems operations, maintenance, and specific problem resolutionMust have skills and experience:Extensive, hands-on experience in building and implementing Identity Governance and Administration solutions with one or more of the leading Identity Governance and Administration products - Saviynt, SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Oracle Access Governance/OIMStrong development experience in implementing all core capabilities of an Identity Governance and Administration SolutionExperience in preparing the product documentation, test cases, test plans, user guides etc.Deep knowledge of agile processes and workflowsNice to have skills and experience:Knowledge of Access Management Product (MS Entra/Okta/Ping etc.) and processesExperience with Cloud Platforms (Oracle Cloud, Azure or AWS)Knowledge of Privileged Access Management products (CyberArk/ Delinea etc.) and processesWorking knowledge of Active Directory conceptsCompensation:Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
