OverviewThe VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, Texas is currently recruiting for a Podiatrist (Section Chief – Ambulatory Care Service). The Section Chief will lead health care professionals to provide primary care to Veteran patients.ResponsibilitiesThe Section Chief is assigned to the Associate Chief of Staff, Ambulatory Care Service and will be responsible for the overall day‑to‑day supervision of his/her assigned primary care providers. He/she will be required to travel between Community Based Outpatient Clinics under this section, as needed, and will supervise one or more CBOC's. The Podiatrist (PACT) is accountable for adhering to established policies and standards of care/practice in evaluating, tracking, and following up on patient care. The Podiatrist collaborates with health care professionals to provide longitudinal case management of the PCP's entire PACT panel with independent care delivery for acute/same-day needs or when otherwise requested by the PCP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
