Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect incoming electronic components for quality and compatibility with project requirements.
  • Perform soldering and rework tasks to ensure the integrity and reliability of soldered connections.
  • Assist in the layout and arrangement of components on PCBs, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to design guidelines.
  • Conduct functional and quality tests on assembled boards to verify their performance and reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, component usage, and testing results.
  • Work closely with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices when handling electronic components and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training or certification in electronics assembly is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and computer board assembly is preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficient in soldering techniques and equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer board assembly and layout principles.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, circuits, and schematics.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and blueprints accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of testing and quality control procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must lift and move moderately heavy equipment and work comfortably in a workshop environment.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime, as needed for project deadlines.
