The Electronics Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and IPC J-STD-001 certification requirements. The ideal candidate should possess experience in soldering, component placement, and demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic components and products following detailed specifications and schematics.
  • Execute soldering tasks adhering to IPC J-STD-001 standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to verify they meet quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Identify and resolve defects or issues within assemblies.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery for the assembly of parts and products.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Document assembly processes and keep accurate records of work completed.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Continuously seek to enhance assembly techniques and processes for improved efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification is mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as an electronics assembler or in a comparable role.
  • Skilled in soldering and handling electronic components.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
