Key Responsibilities:

Soldering Tasks: Execute high-precision soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and various assemblies, following IPC standards (including IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001).

Assembly Duties: Assemble electronic components and systems in accordance with detailed work instructions and engineering schematics.

Quality Inspection: Perform visual and mechanical inspections of soldered connections and assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or issues.

Rework and Repair: Conduct rework and repair of soldered connections and assemblies as necessary, ensuring all tasks align with IPC standards.

Documentation Maintenance: Keep accurate and comprehensive records of assembly processes, inspections, and repairs. Ensure all documentation is thorough and current.

Tool Management: Maintain and calibrate soldering tools and equipment to guarantee optimal working condition. Report any malfunctions or concerns to the supervisor.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance assembly processes, elevate quality, and boost efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations. Ensure adherence to IPC standards and company policies.

Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with fellow assemblers, technicians, and engineers to ensure seamless production flow and address any assembly-related challenges.

Training Contributions: Assist in the training of new team members on soldering techniques and IPC standards.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) is mandatory.

Prior experience in soldering and electronic assembly is preferred.

Expertise in soldering techniques according to IPC standards.

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify and rectify defects.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Basic knowledge of testing equipment and tools.

Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour.
