We are a world leader in naval magnetic silencing systems, militarized drives, power converters, battery monitoring systems, transformers, and turn-key engineering services.Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Transformer mechanical assembly Heavy transformer coil winding (1 KW to 70 KW) Soldering (in-house certification will be required) Assemble and wire various magnetic components Winding experience (bobbin/layer winding) Reading winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical drawings Mechanical assembly and reworking Working with different types of wire types and installation systems Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned Required Skills: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate High School diploma or equivalent. This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization Desired Skills: Experience with soldering, reworking and mechanical systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools. Strong attention to detail and time management. Able to read and interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints. Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension). Good team and people's (interpersonal) skills. "Can do" attitude High motivation and drive. Verbal and written communication skills. Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques of electromechanical products. Experience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gages such as: multimeters, torque and force gages, etc. Physical Requirements: Lifting and transport of units up to 50 lbs. unassisted Position requires extensive standing and/or sitting, and good eye-hand coordination.
