Job Overview:

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of electromechanical devices. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes at Ultra Maritime, Flightline.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Wind transformers and magnetic devices, including bobbins and toroidal windings.
2. Execute mechanical assembly of transformers and related components.
3. Perform pull winding and layer winding tasks.
4. Assemble and wire various magnetic components.
5. Conduct soldering operations (in-house certification required).
6. Interpret and utilize winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical schematics.
7. Engage in mechanical assembly and rework as necessary.
8. Work with diverse wire types and installation systems.
9. Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, or possession of a technical certificate.
- High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Eligibility for required Export Authorization is necessary for non-US Persons.

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in soldering, reworking, and mechanical systems.
- Competence in using hand tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- High motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques for electromechanical products.
- Experience with basic manufacturing tools and gauges, such as multimeters and torque gauges.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and transport units weighing up to 20 lbs unassisted.
- Position involves extensive standing and/or sitting, requiring good eye-hand coordination.
- Capability to use a soldering iron effectively.
- Repetitive hand movements are essential.
