THORACIC SURGERY NURSE PRACTITIONER

The Team at HonorHealth Heart Care - Heart and Lung Surgery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our busy thoracic surgery practice. The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team to provide the most advanced care for heart and lung surgical needs.  The position is associated with a significant level of autonomy; therefore, the individual must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

HonorHealth is a non-profit, local community healthcare system serving an area of 1.6 million people in the greater Phoenix area. The network encompasses six acute-care hospitals, an extensive medical group, outpatient surgery centers, a cancer care network, clinical research, medical education, a foundation, and community services with approximately 13,100 team members, 3,500 affiliated providers and nearly 700 volunteers.

Position Requirements

  • Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required
  • Cardiothoracic surgery experience is preferred

 

Position Details

  • M-F, days + 1 weekend call shift/month
  • Inpatient rounding
  • Outpatient clinic
