Technical Sales Specialist

Position Summary:
The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is an essential role as part of the sales team under Innomics' Genomics Service business. The Technical Sales Specialist assists Regional Sales Managers to manage customer projects and communications more effectively, improving customer service experience and growing territory business.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist sales managers to perform customers’ project consultation and evaluation. Prepare project proposals, quotations and manage contract approval process.
- Provide sample logistics guidance to customers. Monitor project status through collaboration with internal project management team and production centers. Provide project status update through project delivery.
- Coordinate pre- and post- technical support with Field Application Scientist. Ensure project deliverables meet customers expectations.
- Collaborate with finance team to manage invoicing and payment collections.
- Assist Regional Sales Managers in sales prospecting, lead qualification, quotation follow up, business analytics, and other tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or equivalent majors.
Technical or business experience in next generation sequencing (NGS) or relevant genomics technologies strongly preferred.
Sales, customer support, project management experience preferred.
Strong communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility.
Require American citizenship or working permit in the US.
Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
