Divi is a scalp and hair health company started in late 2021. The mission was born out of founder Dani Austin's own personal hair journey as she struggled to find brands and products that specifically addressed the root of hair loss and hair thinning. With several factors affecting each person’s hair health, Divi strives to pioneer what it means to have a healthy “scalp health routine”. Divi has grown extremely quickly, resonating in the marketplace with men and women at a variety of different stages in their hair journey. 2024 is an important growth year for the company with big ideas on the horizon and we are looking to grow our team to help

JOB SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join our finance team. The FP&A Manager will lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of business acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.


CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE + ABILITIES: 


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate finance environment.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with expert level Excel knowledge and experience with financial software / sales platforms (Netsuite, QBO, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial topics to non-financial audiences making clear, concise, easy to understand points.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) and GAAP.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and workstreams, prioritizing for the biggest impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead the day to day management of the financial statements with a focus on the Income Statement, working closely with cross functional teams to always have an up to date view of the business.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Partner with Sales Channel leads to accurately forecast Revenue and call-out risks and opportunities. 
  • Summarize and communicate Risks, Opportunities and changes to the forecast to Head of Finance and CEO at regular intervals
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Partner with Accounting team to maintain accurate and timely financial statements 
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis reports for the leadership team to provide visibility to changes in the forecast
  • Identify and analyze KPIs across the business to monitor channel performance and health.  
  • Strategic Planning & Support
  • Assist in long-term financial planning to support strategic initiatives and goals of the organization.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and impacts on financial plans.
  • Work with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth.
  • Process Improvement & System Optimization
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
  • Partner with IT and other departments to optimize the use of financial systems and tools for streamlined data analysis.
  • Business Partnering
  • Act as a financial advisor to department heads, supporting them in understanding financial implications and making data-driven decisions.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across departments to gain insights into key drivers of the business and how they impact financial performance.
