BBAM is a leader in commercial aircraft leasing, financing and management providing over 200 airline customers in more than 50 countries with fleet and financing solutions over its 30+ year history. In addition, BBAM provides asset management services to leasing companies, aviation investors and financial institutions covering more than 500 aircraft valued in excess of $18 billion and is registered with the SEC as a Registered Investment Advisor. BBAM is a full-service lessor and maintains its own in-house capabilities encompassing aircraft origination, disposition, lease marketing, technical maintenance, regulatory compliance, capital markets activity, tax structuring, legal, contracts, and finance for all asset types and strategies.


This position is responsible for financial data analysis and reporting, development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts and budgets, and streamline financial processes. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and maintain deal pipeline to for cash projection and capital planning  
  • Report on financial performance and KPIs and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Prepare forecast, budgets and variance analysis
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to track key financial and operational metrics.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Develop comprehensive procedures related to data collection and cost allocation, and establish standardized templates and formats for cost analysis reports
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Integrate various data sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for analysis.
  • Automate data collection and reporting processes for more efficient and real-time analysis.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements by implementing new technologies and streamline financial processes.


CAPABILITES (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES) REQUIRED

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Position will interact with employees throughout the organization including marketers, attorneys, accountants and finance professionals as well as external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter with strong initiative. Ability to operate with a high level of independence.
  • The candidate for this position must be able to move among various tasks, address responsibilities in a "hands on" detail-oriented manner. 
  • Above average initiative, can manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organizing, information and task monitoring


EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Preferred CFA, CMA certification 
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related field
  • Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
  • Skill and comfort in working in an automated environment. Company uses Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI), Oracle Fusion, FCCS, PeopleSoft, Kyriba and various custom databases.
