Job Title: Sr. Controls Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Range: $32 - $37/hourly
What’s the Job?
- Effectively troubleshoot and repair facility and production mechanical equipment on a daily basis
- Effectively troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical control systems and PLCs
- Install new electrical service
- Install new or rebuilt machine parts
- Rebuild failed components
- Support installation of new systems and equipment
- Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturer specifications
What’s Needed?
- Strong electrical and mechanical experience with an emphasis on electrical skills
- Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on PLCs and computer software
- Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturer specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency with machine controls and/or 3 phase power systems a plus
- Must have own tools – industry specific tools supplied
